The Web We Want (for the Guardian)
This was a project commissioned by the Guardian. It had various outcomes:
1. Research into the Guardian's own comment and moderation data, looking at the abuse of women journalists. Published here: https://www.google.co.uk/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=the+dark+side+of+guardian+comments&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&gfe_rd=cr&ei=fARPV5CwOIKy7AaCiqrwDg
2. Consultancy; devised guidelines for safeguarding staff journalists, and advised on commenting tools and moderation strategy
3. Editorial work: I commissioned a series of pieces on online abuse (series can be viewed here: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/series/the-web-we-want
4. Advocacy: I did a series of radio interviews, panel debates etc to publicise the research and the issues it raised
