"GAPPP: Gamified Audiovisual Performance and Performance Practice" is an arts-based research project conceived and run by composer and audiovisual artist Dr. Marko Ciciliani (project leader). It is funded by the Austrian Science Fund FWF (PEEK AR 364-G24) and located at the IEM – Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz in Austria.
The project has a runtime of three years and started on February 1, 2016. Simon Katan is one of several guest artists who has been commissioned to write a bespoke composition for the purposes of the research and to engage in research activities.
