Public art commission for new Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit, a major new underground subway line in Toronto Canada. Three large-scale glass mosaics were produced and installed in Caledonia Underground Station. Commissioned by Metrolinx on behalf of ECLRT. Completion 2024. Part of an integrated art initiative for six of the future Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (LRT) project underground stations. ECLRT is due to open to the public in 2025.

Additional Information

The three large scale mosaics have been commissioned by Metrolinx for the new Caledonia Station, Toronto. They were produced by Mayer of Munich, an international leading studio for architectural and artistic glass design and mosaic works. The mosaics were installed January 2022. All work was completed Sept 2024. The station will be open to the public in 2025.
