What might science have to say about why dancing together is such a universal human activity across all cultures? And how might artists and scientists work together to address such questions? Choreographer Matthias Sperling, social psychologist Daniel Richardson and cognitive neuroscientist Guido Orgs introduce their collaborative research project in a series of lectures, panel discussions and workshops. Combining choreographic practice and scientific methods, they studied what it means to move in synchrony, how it affects those who do it (performers) and those who watch it (spectators).
