This lunchtime symposium will offer an opportunity for practitioners, students, researchers and teachers to come together to consider what opportunities there are for theatre in schools in 2018?

What is the legacy of Peacemaker (originally commissioned by David Johnston, Artistic Director of Theatre Centre in 1982, 35 years ago)? How has contemporary children’s theatre kept apace in the current political/Brexit climate? How can artists continue to work in schools? Is there a space for potent, powerful and political theatre that challenges the world we live in for children and young people?
