In, In-between Objects / performed on Treasure Hill, Taipei (formerly a squatted area on the outskirts of Taipei) I wanted to reclaim the hill for art. In doing so I performed a minor act of ethnography. Each performance limited to a small group of up to 25 participants (actors and public) performing in a public space. People signed up to a performance become, by default, participants in the performance. Participants perform for one another as well as for a more ad hoc public who act as observers. Each performance involves a variety of materials that are worked with or abandoned throughout the tour. Each tour is normally under 1 hour duration and is divided into episodes or events. In-between objects / performed was connected to and part of the Taiwan International Video Art Exhibition The Return of Ghosts at Hong-Gah Museum

In-between Objects - part of In-between Objects / performed on Treasure Hill - exist in a kind of intermediate or middle state: Somewhere between functional and non-functional objects (Objects made to exist in the Museum with an implied but unspecified function as well as objects that can equally exist and function in another context as something worn, performed and worked with).
