Alternative Economies is a 28 minute experimental film that juxtaposes the production of a herbal remedy with herbalist Rasheeqa Ahmad with extracts from Disney’s Ducktales following Scrooge McDuck to a land where money doesn’t exist. Interrupting these two filmic spaces are conversations around regulation, accumulation and Cryptocurrency.
