Phillip Lai: solo exhibition (London, 2007)

An exhibition entitled 'Free to meet for coffee sometime soon', comprising two large scale installation works and two works on video. These works come together to animate performativity between actual and mediatised spaces, and across very different visual registers. With the full-room installational aspect of the exhibition, the audience are notionally rendered involved in a set or stage-like situation.
