A review of an exhibition of work by the artist Clunie Reid, on display at Mot International, London. The exhibition consists of 11 works in which Reid has made use of images culled from a variety of sources, rephotographed, and printed onto sheets of shiny silver paper that are then applied to aluminum panels and partially edged with duct tape. The resulting work is exceptionally beautiful and coherent, with each piece representing a minor miracle of chance and energy.
