Fight!

Fight! is a live solo performance of a street fight choreographed for 11 people and performed by a single individual. Fight! uses the physical language of unarmed combat to explore the limits of communication.

Fight! was first performed by Rachel Mayer in a solo exhibition at Catriona Jeffries Gallery Vancouver, 2022. It was performed weekly (alongside Speech!) over the course of the six week exhibition.
Fight! was performed 3x a week by Harry Alexander in a two-person exhibition at greengrassi London 2023.
Fight! was performed by Harry Alexander at Convent of St. Agnes, Prague as part of Ora et lege II at National Gallery Prague, 2024.

Fight! is part of a series of three performance works entitled Speech! Fight! Smile!
