This is a critical volume on the body of work of Nina Danino with colour sections dedicated to individual films and detailed documentation. It includes four critical essays 'Ways of Hearing' by Louise Gray, a music critic who writes for numerous publications including The Independent on Sunday, The Wire and The Art Review, 'Ritualising Images,The Frames of Space, Time and Aesthetics' by S.Brent Plate, a theorist of religion and visual culture who has published widely on material religion, 'A Time of Frontiers' by JJ Tellez , a writer, journalist and broadcaster based in Seville and ' Transfiguration and Transmediation' by Helen De Witt, a film specialist who curates film and programmes at the National Film Theatre and British Film Institute, London. This critical volume includes two essays by Nina Danino 'Speaking in the Dark', Pp 66-77, on 'Now I am yours' (1992) and ‘Landscape, Film and the Visionary', Pp120-128 on Temenos (1998)
