Waiting

Shoben was one of ten artists invited to make a one-minute film to be shown in the intervals between the musical performances at Nelson Mandela's charity '46664' concert in Cape Town on 29th November 2003.All of the films were responses to the AIDS epidemic, particularly as it affects Sub-Saharan Africa. "Waiting" films several people waiting for a train in a station. One-by-one some of the waiting people burst quietly into flames.
