A reflection - in the current Brexit climate - of what it means to be a European, collaborative theatre maker with reference to past co-production and trans-European projects 1976 to 2018. This talk will assert the vital importance of working together across national identities and pragmatic boundaries so as to sustain the possibilities of a 'Europe on stage' whilst keeping in mind and problematising the idea of a European culture within a currently complex global one.
