Understanding history as a concept in constant motion, forever unfinished and always promising the rise of new, future perceptions, Dyangani Ose proposes to establish a radical and transformative relationship between the nature of history and our role as narrators, storytellers, and actors in the production of such history.
As editor of this book, Dyangani Ose has compiled a selection of key seminal texts published in the field, as well as newly commissioned texts that engage with the specific context of curatorial enquiry posed in the exhibition.
