ProbeTools at the Ace Hotel launches during London Tech Week 2018. ProbeTools are unconventional cameras and audio devices for user studies that you can make yourself. Created by the Interaction Research Studio for use in Cultural Probe studies – playful tasks given to evoke inspiring responses from users – they’re easy to customise and use in your own projects. ProbeTools build on contemporary making and hacking trends to offer researchers of any background new possibilities for user studies.
