In this session (part of the Association for Art History's Art History Festival 2021 at the National Gallery, London) we will engage with the visual resources in Room 29: French Painting, 1600–1700. As we do so, we will consider how to use free public collections and resources creatively and strategically in order to clarify deeply held personal interests and concerns and, from there, to design a range of deeply meaningful self-directed learning projects for ourselves, our families, or communities.
