Philosophy, Art and Religion
An aspect of my research into phenomenology and art engages with questions concerning contempoary religious and devotional traditions.
Gathered here is a growing collection of differently disseminated explorations of this terrain, including presentations (most available as video recordings), short peer-reviewed texts, and a Visual Cultures Public Programme convened at Goldsmiths with Dr Jean-Paul Martinon in 2018. An area of on-going interest in this sphere has to do with advancing the spritual, mental and physical health benefits of labyrinth-walking and an empirical exploration (somewhat interrupted by C-19) of the possible public benefits of either permanently or temporarily (collaboratively) installing labyrinths in public spaces, especially public spaces that are, in one way of another, marked by trouble or neglect.
