Researching Design Learning: Issues and findings from two decades of research and development

This book arose from research and development conducted at Goldsmiths College since Kimbell founded the Technology Education Research Unit. In that time Stables and Kimbell have undertaken research and development projects for research councils, government departments, industry, professional and charitable bodies. This book reviews twenty years of this research through the lens of twenty of the projects. The book is structured in three parts. pt 1 The philosophical framework through which we approach the research pt 2 Brief analytic accounts of twenty projects from 1985-2007 pt 3 Emerging themes and understandings.
