Collaboration: Goldsmiths and Red Ribbon Living Well

A talk presented at the Waldron Health Centre, New Cross, London at the launch of their Community Health Hub. Red Ribbon (now North Lewisham Primary Care Network partners) also celebrated the role of Red Ribbon Living Well Members as Community Health Equity Champions. A point of focus was the mutuality of our collaboration. On the other hand, our creative workshops helped RR clarify their vision and strengths and step out into the work as health advocates and activists. On the other hand, we at Goldsmiths were able to see the kinds of synergies with non-academic communities that we feel in a vital aspect of the role of universities and of academic work.
