Sizegiver Daily Archive

Building on the artists book Sizegiver (an edited collection of photographs capturing ubiquitous demonstrations of scale, 2020), Sizegiver Daily Archive collects the latest examples of sizegiving online. Many images containing sizegivers are found on online auction websites (ie. eBay, Etsy, Depop), so their images are only live for the duration of a listing, or can be rapidly deleted.

Quin seeks to document the most interesting examples of these images before they disappear from view, by searching for and posting a found image daily. She also creates original images that are inspired by these examples. This daily practice keeps the archive up to date and relevant. The images are credited to their authors along with their original caption, are shared online through Instagram.
