Design Collective Cyanotypes is a printed newspaper compiling 40 cyanotype prints made by a community of staff in Goldsmiths Design Department. It was conceived, facilitated, and produced by Katherine May and Corinne Quin.
Each cyanotype captures an object, representing a person's creative practice. The project allowed us to gather, and to tune-in to each other by coming to know the sensibilities of each person through their chosen object.
The newspaper was distributed to staff in July 2023 and students in the design department in Autumn 2023, sharing our community of practice and sparking discussions about the breadth of work created within the department.
