[Performance]
An improvised performance by Marie-Gabrielle Rotie, with live and recorded sound by Nick Parkin and Costume by Yuliya Krylova. An embodied and fragmented collage of images transposed into the body and expressed physically through the lens of Butoh Dance.
This performance explored the interface between body and artefacts as a means of 'dancing museums'.
The work was funded by the Ashmolean Museum Oxford and Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities (TORCH).
Site based Solo in the main wing of the museum.
