Postdoctoral Sawyer Seminar Fellowship
This Postdoctoral Sawyer Seminar Fellowship was supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and hosted by the Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility at The New School, New York, as part of the ‘Imaginative Mobilities’ project.
‘Imaginative Mobilities’ was a cross-disciplinary seminar series dedicated to exploring possibilities for collaborative work at the intersection of design and the social sciences in the context of borders, mobility, and migration.
The fellowship involved participation in bi-weekly seminars, organisation of workshops, initiation of collaborative research projects, and development of an independent design and research project (‘NO_POLE’).
‘NO_POLE’ was awarded additional funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation upon the conclusion of the fellowship.
