ICA Panel Discussion: Machine Futurisms
Machine Futurisms is a panel discussion programme responding to the ICA's major exhibition 'Geumhyung Jeoung: Under Constrcution'. The discussion explores human-machine interactions, and the dynamic relationships between the animate, the inanimate and performance.
Moderated by Kate Brown (Senior Editor at Artnet News, co-host of The Art Angle podcast, and Founder of Ashley Gallery, Berlin), the panel features Dr. Soomi Park (London-based designer and lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London) and Dr. Lisa Moravec (writer, curator, critic, editor, lecturer, and body practitioner). Together, they delve into the central themes of the exhibition while exploring the ethical and philosophical tensions that extend beyond the realm of art practice.
