Since 2005, Göze Saner has been working as a performer-researcher with The Quick and the Dead, an international performance research group directed by Alison Hodge that has been developing new actor training exercises known as Core Training based on principles of embodied inter-relation.
Angustias is one of the company’s first performances that builds on the Core Training and an adaptation of Lorca’s The House of Bernarda Alba. Initially presented as a work in progress at the Centre for Theatre Practices Gardzienice in 2007 the performance is documented in a DVD-ROM by Arts Archives along with Core Training exercises: The Quick and the Dead: The Development of Core Training and Performance, Arts Documentation Unit: 2007.
