The Third Space

This research project hosted by the Michael Chekhov Assocation's (MICHA) Scholar LAB 2020 investigates Chekhov Technique and the potentiality of the third space as a transformative catalyst in relation to self, identity and others. Drawing on postcolonial and sociolinguistic theories of identity, community, real and imagined spaces, play practices, progressive pedagogy and queer theory to explore Chekhov Technique as a means to create a dynamic third space.
